Enjoy your evening walk to the main boulevard of the city, located just below our building. There you will find different shops, bars, restaurants etc.

Lekursi Castle, from the mid-1500s, is located on top of Lekursi Hill, offering amazing view over the city and bay, especially during the sunset. Inside the castle is a restaurant with an outdoor terrace that occasionally organise events with traditional folk music.

Butrint’s glorious 2500-year-old ruins, within a majestic 30 km wide natural reserve is an UNSECO World Heritage Site. It attracts visitors from all over the world, and with reason; it is absolutely stunning. With a picturesque lagoon and mountains surrounding Butrint National Park, it is worth coming here for the views alone. Plan 2 to 3 hours walking around it and try to avoid the sun peek hours. Blue Eye (Syri i kaltër) is a water spring and natural phenomenon that each visitor should witness. You’ll be enchanted by the surrounding dense forest and the beautiful light turquoise river that flows through this natural paradise. It is more than 50-metre deep and the water is very cold.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the old town is famous for being a well-preserved city of authentic architecture and its fortress overlooking the entire city, the old houses lean against the slopes of the hills with their beautiful old wooden facades. Enjoy its castle, the massive open-air bazaar as well as its delicious regional cuisine.

Head off to some virgin beaches, like Kakome, Krorez or the islands of Ksamil. Some of the best beaches can only be reached by boat, so a boat trip is a must-do when you’re in Saranda. There are two types of boats: small speed boats and big wood boats. The trip is usually 10 am to 5 pm and it starts near the harbour of Limani. Their itinerary is: Kepi Qefalit, Kakome, Krorez.
